Quitting weed/alchohol

So, i decided to quit smoking weed after heavy usage for maybe 10 years. And ended drinking somewhat frequently for the past few months, 4-6 beers 5 days a week, a day after 2-3 consecutive days of drinking, then 1-2days off. I dont think i was physically addicted to alchohol but i cant tell anymore. I had no problem quitting, no urge or anything, i just felt like crap all the time/gaining weight so I stopped before it got out of control. But ever since maybe the third day without these two substances ive been lightheaded/dizzy/possibly vertigo ish. Been having panic attacks and my blood pressure seems to have gone up a decent amount (working with doctor on that/blood tests came back perfect). Has anyone else experienced this? Its like ive been lightheaded for a couple weeks straight and my body is having a hard time adjusting. Almost feels like im high in a way/disoriented. Is this normal to feel this for quitting these two after such usage?

I would say, give your body time to adjust and find it's new equilibrium. I went through something similar and it eventually faded after 1-2 months. Be patient. I wouldn't worry too much about it unless it gets any worse.
My suggestion is don't replace a substance with another substance (especially if it is a substance that is more destructive).
I know it's tough go going through this. Find something that makes you feel good in a natural way, like doing exercise, preferably in nature. Hiking is an excellent way to distract yourself, but there are many other ways.

Yeah I know what you mean. Breaks are good for a lot of things.

Thanks, yes, thats what I keep coming back to; my body is finding its equilibrium. Its good to hear from another that this may be the case/perceive it as this bc its scarying the shit out of me sometimes. In a way, its like I was dulled/numbed out for so long that ive become hyper sensitive/stimulated/aware/dizzy to reality. Deff makes me not want to take anymore substances now that im having to deal with this shit (outside of doctor supervision)
I will try walking/hiking more. Ive tried some intense excercising but i noticed it increases my panic/lightheadedness. Maybe less intense workouts and overall blood flow/healthy distraction will be better

I stopped drinking alcohol four years ago. Not even a beer since.
Really can recommend it.

I have maybe 2 drinks per month. I never was one to keep alcohol around to have a pint for no reason.
I just quit smoking pot 2 weeks ago. I was going on 8 months of consuming it every waking minute.
Waking up in the morning super anxious until I hit it. Getting nausea headache and anxiety when I waited too long to have more.
My withdrawal symptoms went away pretty quickly maybe 3 days for physical symptoms another couple days for the insane anxiety to pass.
I'm sorry to hear it hasn't passed yet. Some of your symptoms sound alot like starting an SSRI for the first time.
My only advice would be to build a healthy lifestyle. Being active having fulfilling hobbies proper sleep maybe meditation will help with the anxiety.
Good luck
