Pink Oysters: Only one flush and senescence problems.

Hello everybody. I posted already of the issues i have with pink oysters. First of all: i leave in central america and is very very hot tropical weather so what is growing here is are pink oysters, reishis and Cubs. Reishi going well, Cubs going pretty well when i have a good strain, and THE PINK OYSTERS are doing a big first flush , no much more... So, how do i get the LC? i buy it online (amazon Mushroom lab or similar ) and after 3 weeks arrive in Central America. Usually arrive alive but sometimes did not resist to the trip. I buy 1 LC every month because we experience senescence: they do not last for more than 3 months ( i dont know why). Anyway we are not getting good result... I know is a very general explication of my problem, so i just ask to the community some general suggestions to get better. thanks in advance.

Can you describe what exactly you're experiencing because I dont think it is senescence. What is the problem? That you're getting just one flush? Or the culture is dying and you're having to reorder? How are you storing your master culture, are you making a slant?

ok... good points So, i do not store master culture because the pink oysters mycelium do not like the fridge and i have the possibility to buy one pink oyster LC every month. I had some backup outside of the fridge in the past , but i tried it and was not going well ....
what we observe is: when i get a new LC the mycelium is growing well the first month and after became slow , less white and after few months is not growing anymore. For this reason i import a LC every month : keep using a old one is very risky for me because at the moment i recognize that is not good anymore , is already too late and i loose the substrate
we observe that some LC give a very nice and white mycelium and others are giving a weak white mycelium ... The weak white is lasting less than the others ( is much better the tick and white mycelium).
The first flush is usually very good like should be , but at the second flush the mycilium loos color and is less white and is not giving anything or very little
I am a bit worried about the temperature becasue right now is 33 degree celthius and i do not have AC. Yes i have humifier in the green room and plenthy of FAE.
Here i tried other Oysers ( grey , white, king ) but only the pinks a growing becasue they are used to hight temperature.
I'd really like to get 2 flushes and can use only one LC in a while , but the old ons are not producing like before....

Depending on where you get your culture, a lot of genetics have been selected to give a great first flush and the second flush will be not so great. This is because a lot of growers only use blocks for one flush.
Have you tried taking spore prints and doing multi spore grows? The results will not be as consistent as what you've been doing but it's a way you can avoid importing a lc every month.

i am buying 1 LC every month because i had the paranoia that are going in senescence, but with your explication i undesrtand that only one flush is normal.
Sorry, but i am the only grower in this country , so i really i do not have friends to share opinions and mycelium. Si i try to do my best thanks to this forum. More... is very very hot here, so is bit different from where mayority of you lives...and tis makes a bit more complicate....BUT.... I AM GROWING MUSHROOMS ! AND I EAT MY MUSHROOMS ... AND THIS IS IMPORTANT
