Finally I got some pics uploaded for you all, but my limit is up, so this is all i have so far. I do have tons more I will upload in time. Enjoy! Wish you all could have been there! These do the stage and the boys and the beauteousness of the land no justice, but may give you an idea of what it's like there. :smile:

So I got back home this morning after driving all night. All in all they were excellent shows and we had an altogether magical experience. I will post my photos as I get them uploaded. Warren Hanes AND Jimmy Herring are playing. They sound AMAZING together. Anyone who can get out and see them will be very pleased to say in the least.

Friday was very rainy (dumping rain) and cold! I wore 2 jackets, 2 shirts and jeans and I got soaked to the bone. I have never been so miserable at something that is supposed to be wonderful. My least favorite Dead show ever. I hate being cold! They played really well though, to make up for it. There was also a lot of fog that night which looked cool. Too bad I had to freeze, dammit!

For me, Saturday was the best night. I took mushrooms and they helped make the show very special for me. I can't think of many things better than tripping to the Dead with someone you love. :heart:

It was simply pure magic for me that night. The weather was perfect, and the Dead were ON....They played lots of my favorite songs. Warren has a very beautiful voice and they all pay special respect to Jerry's songs, it seems to me. Comes a time was TOO beautiful, it made me cry, it was so lovely. They played extra cosmically and slow Saturday. Unfortunately the sound was a little off due to the high winds. They all looked really beautiful in the wind though, and it didn't take much away from the show. I just wish it could have been louder- the sound was going in and out, but that's ok. I thought of you all, shroomerites, and sent you lots of love! This was my favorite non-Jerry Dead show so far. We'll see if next tuesdays will top it though :smile:

The set design was really beautiful and trippy. I can't wait to show you my pictures although I'm sure they won't do it justice.

I went to sundays show too, but am running out of time to write about it. Basically it was a great great show, and I loved it! The drums were extra good I thought. The split birdsong was great. Candyman= incredible, china doll, not usually one of my favorites but played beautifully enough to make me love it. Samson= SMOKING. Here is the setlist:
