Question about spore prints

Is it possible to make a spore print from already dry mushrooms? Such as these, these are said to he "golden". i couldnt quite get a good pic of the inside.

are spore prints legal in california because i know i cannot get a spore syringe

then how do i do it hahaha. if i look thru this forest near my house today im sure ill find some mushrooms but then again how will i know if they are hallucinogenic. im caught between going to another state for spore syringe, then i dont have to bother with prints, or somehow make my own print to make a syringe. some one in los angeles help hahaha

It is quite possible to recover some spores from that cap , but odds of contams are very great . So IMO you should try to germ them on agar that way you can issolate a strain that is healthy . But if you must do it the old syringe way , fill the cap with sterile water , let sit for an hour or so , then suck up into a pokie , then inject into cake mix or grain . But like mentioned before the chances of contams are very high .

Whoever you bought the shrooms from, I would go back to them, find the original grower, and offer him $15 for a print. I'm sure he's either making them or buying them somewhere. These days, only about 10% of the shrooms on the market are actually picked outdoors, and those in that picture are certainly not picked outdoors.

Secretly ask around, you should be able to find it for a price.
