PhreakFakt0r said: Hello everyone. What day is today you ask??? Well .... wonder no more because it is 15th day from control test on positive pressure flow box that i built from Gordo's TEK. First some background pictures that I took back on 3/30/2023

This here was an open flow MEA agar plate test at 5 inches off of filter face. The test ran for 5 minutes in the open flow of the filter and then the plate cover was placed back on the control and Press-N-Seal wrap was use to band the plate (I was out of parafilm .... don't hate). Today ..... 15 days plus a couple hours out ..... this is what that control plate looks like ->

You'll notice there are NO contams or signs of contam on that control plate. It's as clean and contam free as when I poured it. So .... it's at this point that everyone who said this clean flowing device would be a complete failure and that I'd be pushing it up an accumulating mountain of failures can go ahead and line on up and take their turn apologizing for their doubt and flaming D!<K43@D behavior.

Good initial test. Now on to actually working with your hands moving dishes, jars, and lids while doing transfers. I hope it keeps working for ya.
I believe your analytics are correct. As such inside of these 15 test days I have already done a2a and G2G and a2SSLC. Keep in mind I ALWAYS stay behind my work. If it all washes out clean then I spent a damn fine $35.

So do I, but I understand how to run a basic ass experiment so as to narrow possibilities.
Honestly I don't have the correct words for this situation, so I'm going to quote BakedBeings:

Uncle Ben's looks contaminated maybe, or just way too wet. I'd love a second opinion here on that. I've never done it.
PF jar looks good, but how do you plan to get a solid cake of shroom matter out of that oddly shaped jar for PF Tek?
I don't think you can. I'd maybe toss the Ben's (or bury outside if you want).
The other one, the "PF" one, I'd scrape out with a spoon when done and do a shoe box.
Then take spore prints of what you grow, learn agar tek and get away from spore syringes. It's not hard and gives you a lot more control over contam. Links in article in my sig line.

If by taking off you mean the bacteria taking it to soup mode, yep. Those bags are contaminated.

The first of my multispore GTs is ready. The others are looking real sad even compared to this. There is one thatβs showing promising clustering genetics, though!

Yeah, it's usually the noobs not the old timers here saying they did an "experiment" when they did nothing approaching scientific method.
I'm not saying there's no room for improvement, but the basic SAB works better than anything but a flowhood. (a real flowhood, not the box fan with AC filter things).
What I've observed on here is that the basic methods work pretty damn well. When people who like to tinker in their garage add tubes, pumps, fans, atomizers, all that, it usually results in no improvement, and sometimes worse results.
My belief is that the improved SAB shown above is going to suck in more contams than a classic SAB.
I've also noticed that the only people on here who make leaps forward that get adopted: --Have grown a fuck load of canopy tubs using the old methods first. --Understand what you learn in 8th grade science class, that an for an experiment to be valid, it requires a real control, and if it is demonstrating results, those results must be replicateable.
Every time someone says on here or Reddit that they've come up with a brave new plan and changed the shroom world, and I give this rant, they get mad and say I'm blocking progress.
If you want to make progress, you need to show progress in a way that proves progress.
I'm not saying this to be mean, I'm saying it because I'd LOVE to see more actual science and innovation on here. There has been a LOT in the last 20 years, but a lot of times the things announced as a new way aren't a better way.
If it's a better way, prove that it's a better way.
