Anahata said: i was legit going to make a post just like this.
I went to the hospital the other day with flu like symptoms and the first thing i asked when i walked in was where are the masks? They smiled and with pride said, "ohh you dont have to wear those anymore". I had to go on and say no i want one.
Then i get to the front desk and the lady sees me adusting my mask and then says to me with a tone of (you silly fool) "you're not required to wear those anymore".
I was catching a vibe of we don't like your kind around here.
Even as i was exiting out through the double doors i noticed people giving me odd face when they seen the mask.
Damn sheep.
so what are your pronouns?

Thank you for asking, you know i always wondered what that was about, from what i heard i can make it anything i want right? Well i dont want to confuse the masses so i will try and pick somthing simple like keeping it in between the lines of male and female. Care to help me?
I have male genitals I like being me. I find things designed for males to be convenient. I feel comfortable in male stereotype roles.
But
Im sensitive Not Ashamed to cry Would rather run than use violence I get intimidated by hyped up egotistical displays of strength and confrontation
And
I go out of my way to save and protect things like animals or bugs. But i have to keep reminding myself killing these other people isnt worth what it will do to my soul.
What should i call myself? Or am i playing it wrong?

I haven't seen a single person wear a mask in idk how long. It's refreshing. People wear masks. I saw them wearing masks in Target. People still get it. We hand out free COVID tests like crazy.
How are things in your guy's area?
Edit: please don't fight over Vax vs unvax. I'm just generally curious how things are going everywhere.

I know three that are just getting over it as of yesterday as far as symptoms go. When it started, a guy my age died of it. I know many others that have had it including my kids and grandkids with them being in the last three weeks. I know some that have had it more then once. Sometimes it acts better then other times when they get it. I have not had it but live in the woods and am a hermit. Cheers gww

By that logic Flanders masochiusts would dig up the mustard gas shells at ypres to do pain parties and scarification art.
It doesnt work that way.

If you actually look at some numbers, covid is not a "thing" anymore largely because of vaccination, your own personal choices aside.
"The estimated infections, hospitalizations, and deaths averted by vaccination are particularly striking when compared to the actual values observed during this time period. Since December 12, 2020, 82 million infections, 4.8 million hospitalizations, and 798,000 deaths have been reported in the U.S. In other words, without vaccination the U.S. would have experienced 1.5 times more infections, 3.8 times more hospitalizations, and 4.1 times more deaths. These losses would have been accompanied by more than $1 trillion in additional medical costs that were averted because of fewer infections, hospitalizations, and deaths."
https://www.commonwealthfund.org/blog/2022/two-years-covid-vaccines-prevented-millions-deaths-hospitalizations
Meanwhile MRNA is about to cure deadly peanut allergies, sickle cell anemia, and one day in the not-so-distant future cancer too. Maybe my area was just hard hit out in the northeast, but I nor anyone I know regrets being vaccinated. I've heard of irregular periods happening, but a cold or literally any stress at all can do that too. Most people don't have a great understanding of risk analysis, but the incidences of myocarditis even in young healthy kids, are marginally higher in covid and the covid induced myocarditis tends to be more severe than vaccine induced.
Overall, I do respect a "persons right to choose", but there is a cost to this freedom that is a basic truth that should be acknowledged - and society is lucky so many people did go ahead and get the jab, and that the research into mRNA had been going on for over 10 years at that point. Nearly every actual analysis that I've at least casually perused seems to validate that, unless someone can offer another one.
If anyone is genuinely interested in more sources or charts or graphs or whatevs, I'm happy to provide more than just a blog, but I gotta stop procrastinating for now

Anyway thank you for your input
