That’s really well done.

I'm about to try these out. I have 0.90g dry going into acidic tea. This was 1 that I had to pick early so I hope it still packs a decent punch but not too much either. Trip report. Very mild tasting compared to cubes. I'm guessing I didn't let the mushroom mature long enough or maybe I need to take more because visuals are at a minimum. Even cev are weak. I do feel amazing emotionally and physically. Music is on par with how cubes make it sound better. I am much more clear headed and am really enjoying the experience. Now I want a higher dose or more mature fruits.

I would gladly give these a try! Got another variety of subtropicalis in the works and I could throw these in the rotation

Did you prep your verm? Or casing dry and misting does fine? Thanks

Just dry verm and mist heavily.

hello i am getting ready to spawn my first semperviva jars.
the most advanced one looks like this. i cannot see any metabolites, haven't opened to smell it yet, but i am wondering about these spots. bacteria? funky mold? any ideas?? and would you cut them out when spawning?
the colors are a bit oversaturated. but funky nevertheless

Mine always ended up with fluffy dry looking mycelium. They resemble zapotecorum mycelium and recently had a bacterial one that looked overly wet.. loads of moisture buildup on the walls.. upon shaking a wet mess.. so tossed the jar, actually upon opening it smelled well.. no weird odor, but I had enough jars, so rather toss one than risk. Yes, these smell different too, I'm not a 'connoisseur', but I recall smell does not tell everything in terms of bacteria.. subtropicalis smells sweet to me.. I have natalensis growing at the moment, but they smell horrible compared to subtropicalis.

Second Melgo flush. The one in the middle looks a bit like a Subtrop Penis Envy

Had this tiny contam cup fungus (?) in the sub. Thought it was cool. Never had red contam before.

I also took 70mg (the smallest fruit) for a minidose today. Very smooth, although it was right after a workout which is an unusual setting.

Looking good. I spend more time looking at my semps than anything else I’m growing.

God, it feels so nice to see them pin even before full colonization. Was it top layer at spawn?
And they're chonky as hell, nice job!

they indeed smell a bit sweet but not at all in a bacterial way. delicious. my jar in question with the funky spots smelled perfectly fine. the tiny amount of water that remained in the jar was transparent and clear. breaking up these very consolidated grains was ... delicious, heavenly.
altogether spawned 3 jars at different stages of consolidation. lets see how it goes.
spawning days make me happy

This sub was made 12/6/22, has been on the mañana pile waiting on me to case and move to an FC. The sub was starting to bruise blue because it was drying out. Last night it was cased, soaked and put in a shoebox, now more waiting.
