From what I've been reading, they are mixing up the setlist greatly from show to show, and overall playing a lot from their back-catalog. I saw them for their Morning View tour and they blew me away. Although, I hate the arena they're playing at this year, so I'm declining.....

I'd be a lot more willing to see Incubus if they hadn't watered down their unique sound. Personally, I don't consider them the same band without "Dirk Lance" on bass. Plus, according to friends of mine who saw them a couple of years ago, the crowd consists of more teeny bopper teen girls than anything else.. and I can't stand that sort of thing. I can barely stand the Warped Tour anymore because of it..

Why don't you stop judging bands by the crowds that go to see them and instead judge them BY THE MUSIC THEY PLAY?

Incubus is far from watered down these days.. their style simply evolves drastically with EVERY RELEASE, and most people can't handle that kind of thing.

They are one of my favorite bands, and their musical evolutionary abilities are one of the main reasons I love them.

Yeah, I'm going to see them this saturday. I got floor tickets, and VIP passes. I'm really looking forward to it  One of my favorite bands also.

I judge bands by their music, and like I said, their new stuff - to me - straight up lacks the intricacy and greatness of their former albums. SCIENCE, to me, was their pinnacle. Their newer material just doesn't .. shine.

One of my friends who went to see them got a concussion after some teeny bopper crowd surfer kicked him in the head. She was apparently really young (15 - 17). I would probably see them if I had money/time and they came close enough to me..

nothing but love to incubus, but "a crow left of the murder" can suck my balls.

I think they get better with every single release.

Their style changes drastically with every release, but their musical abilities only go upwards.

I can see how SCIENCE would be the last album to appeal to a lot of people.. with Make Yourself they started to mellow out and lost some of their heavy edge. But music doesn't have to be hard to appeal to me. Shrug.

Unfortunately I won't be able to find tickets unless I want to sit way up in the stands of an arena, which I really don't want to do.  :frown:

I am definitely seeing them this tour. I love A Crow Left of the Murder. I also love SCIENCE and I can see where you consider it their pinnacle--I, for instace, love the psychedelic thought I think they put into it. However, with songs with such meaning and beautiful sound as on their last album... it's just a nice evolution and contains the same depth with more artistic abilities shining.

Haha, i doubt this will work out like this, but just putting it out there since I have an extra ticket now. Peace.

Yeah man! That's where my opinion of them lies too.

And the fact is, EVERY one of their albums is very psychedelic in subtle ways that you don't pick up on unless you trip to them.
