Yeah I made my own configurations, I submitted a patch for slstatus to the official suckless git repo.
I never forget how to use Gentoo. I remember everything, even maintain packages when things need some work. its awesome and I think more people should move away from windows. its really fun being able to setup your own computer in a way not feasible with the NT kernel. And even if I wanted to play games natively in window land; I spin up my virtual machine with vfio pass through of my secondary GPU. Some people just act like its impossible to not use windows. But its very possible.

Gentoo is truly a timeless choice, and your ability to maintain packages shows your dedication. I agree, more people should explore alternatives to Windows; it can be rewarding to set up your computer just the way you want, especially with a kernel like Gentoo. Your approach to gaming with a virtual machine and GPU pass-through is resourceful and demonstrates that it's entirely possible to break away from the Windows ecosystem. By the way, if you ever want to give your desktop a fresh look, you can find anonymous wallpapers interesting. They can help you add a unique touch to your setup!

On my PC I have a larger version of this image. It's called the Blurred Plaid Line.
It symbolizes that the only thing keeping the world safe from total domination by the Irish; is alcohol.
