Kinison was funny though. Hicks was just preachy.

I don't think Waco and Ruby Ridge are comparable, except by really bad govt. response, and causing right-wing inflammation. They had to intervene quickly at Waco. With Ruby Ridge there was no pressing issue to excuse what happened at the raid, and killing the guy's wife with their baby in her arms doesn't allow for differing viewpoints. The government ended up with no major convictions and lost two lawsuits.

Those are anti gun control bumper stickers, not anarchist pamphlets. What information are you basing your claim on?

Anti gun control is not the same as being anti gun.

Mmmm his reaction to being arrested was absurd , if they had just put their guns down and came out nonviolently no one would have been killed . He would have been processed for his gun crime and released on bail . People always want to act like getting arrested for a crime is the end of their lives but it usually isn't . Same thing with Waco , just don't point guns at the cops , everyone in Waco and ruby was white , they would have received the kids gloves treatment .

It's like the antigovernment people keep telling BLM: just comply with the cops and everything will be okay.
Both Waco and Ruby ridge would have been prevented if they simply complied with the cops.

That's the reality. Waco and ruby ridge are an outrage because the victims were white. Cops gun down unarmed black men with impunity throughout this country.

At the time I felt like the real outrage came from white people thinking they could use their guns to influence the outcome of law enforcement interactions but those two things were a huge wake up call . Turns out you can't .

I definitely used my whiteness to get out of a speeding ticket earlier, though. Didn't need a gun.

Ive had mixed results with mine . I got a warning after passing a cop on the freeway and I got a 500 dollar ticket for driving in the last 100 yards of the carpool lane just before the end sign . Doesn't seem to work as well with Mexican cops for some reason . I've had guns pulled on me too it doesn't really prevent that.
I remember Waco playing out on tv very well from my childhood . I didn't know how it had ended until I went to school and my friend said " hey guess what Waco stands for ... we all charcoaled ourselves . " I had to wait the whole school day and a hr long bus ride home to watch the armored car plowing through the building .

Anyone who runs a cult is a evil person. Nuff said.
Ruby ridge and what happened at Waco are both very tragic. But Randy Weaver was entrapped by the PO-lice. David Koresh was a manipulating piece of shit who convinced people he was the 2nd coming.
Those 2 things are not the same to me. The only similarities are the PO-lice and government over stepping their boundaries. But it ends their in my humble opinion...

I wonder if they still hand out Lon Horiuchi's home address at gun shows?
