I'm watching Waco on Netflix. I keep thinking about Ruby Ridge. Which I am more familiar with. Waco was wild.... I'm not that far into it & I don't remember a lot of this. BUT The news tells us what they want us to know. Ruby Ridge is close to my home. I learned a lot from the community.

You know what’s weird about Waco? How many people showed up for the spectacle, like famous people, people with common interests.
Bill Hicks and his Alter Ego “Alex Jones” both showed up with Kevin Booth. They became obsessed with it for a while..
Here is Timothy Mcveigh spreading Anarchist Pamphelts at Waco

Famous people like the guy who blew up the federal building in OKC and the guy who just lost a 1.5 billion dollar lawsuit for lying about a mass shooting.

Nah, Bill Hicks went to Waco live while it was happening, on the 7th day. I am pretty sure he flew back home from UK just to witness it. Later Bill Hicks faked his death (allegedly) and came back as Alex Jones and returned to Waco to report on the atrocity.
I don’t know how much I believe about the stories of Koresh and the abuse but I do believe our government killed innocent people burning them alive.

I'm unsure right now also. Except.... the lady said an adult is a 12 yo child so its ok for him to have sex with the 12yo And i read a girl testified she was raped at age 10 I do agree.... they paint a story how they want it painted. Doesn't all governments? It feels like the government was insulted and wanted revenge. All very extreme No one stands a chance against them You know about ruby ridge? That was foul So so wrong

I know far less about Ruby Ridge I don’t wanna deny victims so if you say a child testified against him I am just gonna accept that at face value

I'm still watching but what bothers me is WACO & Ruby Ridge both were over guns. So far the only thing that in my opinion I see justified is he's a pedophile!!! BUT they didn't know that until later. Had they of been so aggressive over the children being physically and sexually abused. Id be more supportive. That disgusts me. But They weren't. It was over guns. Why was Timothy McVrigh there?

fuck koresh. that guy was completely off the rails and even before waco people were aware he was sick. ruby ridge is also pretty fucked but the cops straight up sniped a women holding a baby. thats bad no matter what. i dont think child abuse was happening except for intellectual abuse by keeping children in a brainwashed christian fantasy.
i never liked bill hicks that much i thought he gave intelligent 'on the down low' style drug users a bad name. he was obnoxious and his delivery was annoying as f.
bill hicks is alex jones?

Hicks is/was brilliant, especially for his time, and willing to say things most folks weren't. Not as good as Carlin by any means, but good.
I've never heard this theory of him becoming Alex Jones.

Sam kinison fits that bill better than Bill Hicks. Trashy, loudmouth, swearing constantly and yelling.

Ruby Ridge was 100% a mess. I feel like the government was just flexin their power. Destroyed that family, community, etc. Any fears the community already had.. and there were alot. It was northern Idaho. Were substantiated. I dont find anything they did with Ruby Ridge acceptable. NONE of it. They lied.. they lied SO much. He was not a racist. Or some big gun dealer. It was absurd
