Can you forge me a scalpel handle?
Anyway, I'm still confused why 15% of the mcdonald's specific ice cream machines are mcBroken, even after a new startup company called 'Kytch" designed a device that automatically takes care of all those problems, and could save the franchise owners from losing out on business. Then, the company that makes the specific machine came up with there own device, and got sued by kytch. The new fix for the ice cream machines was supposed to be rolled out already, yet 15% are still down all the time? What gives?
That was a complete fabrication for the jokeβs sake. Watching demonstrations at a renaissance festival is the closest Iβve ever been to a forge.π

Really appreciate this information.
Just a couple of modifications to my SAB and it might actually function as a SAB

I just got the small 20x20 FFU. The clips that hold the filter prevent it from sitting flat. I can think of a few different solutions, but for those of you with the same FFU, will you please post pics of how you managed that problem? Thanks all!

How thick are the clips? Some rubber feet or some of these could do the trick.

I donβt have pics, but I cut a slot in the shelf I set it on. The clip fits into the slot and the housing rests flat on the shelf.

Thanks for all the ideas so far! Once I get over this stupid sinus infection, Iβll use this inspiration to build something and post it.

I have it sitting on a few of the packaging strips it came with. Reduces the vibration of the table it is on. Not elegant but it works

Thanks. Thatβs very similar to what I settled on. I ordered some of those .75in thick foam pads made for gym floors. Once I cut it to size, it should also be elegant!
Iβm going to rivet some aluminum angle iron on the back to make a 16in x 16in prefilter slot. I also want to install some sort of standoff on the back corners so I can just push it all the way to the wall, knowing the room left is perfect for airflow.

I used the same material that came with the hood to also brace it against the wall so it doesn't tear it up. I took one piece and folded it in half so its roughly about 3" between the wall and the hood. Another what should be a temporary solution that has been going on long term.
