It’s been a really good weekend.. Can’t take credit for the genetics; I just grow em. There are some real trailblazers in the cube genetics scene right now.
Peace
Is makilla some kind of ape cross?? It looks a lot like PBR

Those are beautiful. I know you’ve been tweaking( dictionary term, not urban dictionary term) your FC’s. What was the set up this time? Also changing the subject back.
Thanks guys. The setup these are in is this:

That was my test setup. Two air stones in a glass gallon jar with an air-tight lid. Dual outlet air pump, and output is a drain hose of some sort I found at the hardware store. I frequently misted the last batch of zaps and they liked it. As a test, I didn't mist the current batch and they were ok without it.
New setup is this:

The tote is the kind with a gasket in the lid and 6x latches so it is air tight. Same principle as the test setup only the water is in the tub so it's more of a standard JCM-bubbler. The only unique thing about mine vs a JCM is that it has the lid gasket, it has a 3-disc fogger in it that cycles every 8 hours to really saturate everything (replaces manual misting for species that need it), and I have the outlet holes drilled into the top and covered with a fine mesh nylon screen material (cut out from a nut-milk bag). The mesh combined with the air-tight tote mean it is completely impervious to fungus gnats. I have gnat issues here that are under control but risk factor goes up a lot with exotics like these because of the extremely long fruiting period. A good 30 months days from putting them into fruiting conditions until start of fruit formation and then another 2-4 weeks for fruits to FULLY mature to spore drop.
That's a sick JCM chamber. The only thing that worries me is condensation on the lid raining down on the substrate and fruits. I've needed to keep a lot of airflow at the top of my JCM to keep the drops down, and it still does quite a bit.
I recently made the holes in the top of my JCM larger for this reason.
I would bet you could do a grid pattern and cover it with the mesh to get more evap if necessary.

That section on the left looks like mold to me….. if you plan on spawning that I’d first give it a shake and see what happens.
AKA, I think you’re right about the Makilla.. I am almost positive it’s a melmak/ape cross
Nice grows everyone!! And cool looking fruits Faht.
