What do y'all think this means for U.S.- Saudi relations going forward? Does this signal a power shift in the region?

Lucky for all of the world.
Iran now has enough fissile material to build atomic bombs. Maybe they will throw one out and around. And watch Israel to turn Iran into a glass parking lot. Israel has at least 40 thermonuclear weapons.
And it is a shift of power. Saudi already snubbed Biden earlier, because he isn't strong enough to take care of foreign politics. China is getting oil from Iran and Saudi, Saudi laughed their ass off when Biden begged for Saudi to pump more to help the US.
Bad for the US, bad for the world 🌍.

I think so. And I don’t even think it’s attributable to a U.S. decline or anything like that. We’ve proven to Iran we aren’t going to negotiate with them on their nuclear power (which they shouldn’t even have to do, but that’s beside the point). Saudi has proven it’s fine playing both sides so this is nothing new for them. But it will piss off people on the domestic front and give them ammo for Sabre rattling towards China.

Although a net diplomatic victory for China, it is very minimal and definitely not a substantial power shift in the region. Opening of embassys in one another's country usually is the starting point of further negotiation.
Now if China brokered a deal for Iran to stop supporting the Houthi rebels in Yemen and Saudi to stop bombing....that would be huge.
US is still the power player and supplies Saudi with just about everything military while a sustained ass raping of Iran is SOP.

It seems to me we are seeing a power shift across the world. This has been a long plan and we are more than half way through.

I think this is a big win for China, personally. They are the peacemakers, and this sort of thing makes America look foolish, for all of our talk of peace and democracy.
I find it odd that I am hearing politicians outright call China our "enemy". When did China become our "enemy"? China ought to be an economic rival. Not our enemy (Particularly in a military sense). I really hate American foreign policy. I'm ashamed of it. We have a bunch of children in government, who are so busy measuring their dicks, that they neglect personal hygiene. Like removing lead from tap water, and maintaining infrastructure, so we don't have train crashes.
