What are your Spotify recommendations ?
    #28214269 - 03/04/23 02:28 PM (10 months, 20 days ago)

So I’m not really a music lover(I know, psychotic behavior haha), but I’ve heard good things about music while you journey…curious as to what you listen while you trip.
Artists, playlists, genres, Meditation?

I guess if I had to pick I’d say I’d be looking for something instrumental, vibey, lo-fi, Solfeggio tone-ish type stuff.
All recommendations are welcome…
Any podcasts in regard to psychedelics? All aspects from experience to integration or the psychology behind it.
I appreciate any input.

I love music that is melodic but with a certain complexity.
Woodkid is amazing! Great videos too.
Björk of course, Air, The Doors.
Underwater love by Smoke City! Great song to hear on shrooms.
Also some classical music. The Tyrol Concerto by Philipp Glass is just beautiful.
I also enjoy some relaxed french pop like Juliette Armanet or Jeanne Cherhal.
Nothing too fast or shrill or pushing.

I saw that artis as I was looking for the official Johns hopkins university psychedelic therapy playlist.
Listened to about a half hour of that album yesterday on my ride home from work. Definitely something I’m going to save for the future.
Thank you.

Fucking perfect. Thank you so much.
Actually listened for about 6 solid hours today as a test to see if I got tired of it.
Spot fucking on.

Definitely, honestly my preference. Researching all this music solidified that. It’s nice though to have some stuff that I know I’m cool with on the back burner.

Ryan Celsius inspired playlists, Cryochamber inspired dark ambient playlists, and those aesthetically pleasing vaporwave playlists (especially mallsoft). Acid Mother's Temple is also pretty good (acid rock esque, Pink Lady Lemonade is my favorite song of theirs).

Depends on the experience you want. I like to make Playlists that are mindful of the trip I'm hoping to take, I start with some fun stuff like The Weeknd or Dua Lipa, Gorillaz to kick things off. Then I'll put some Björk, Heilung, Infected Mushroom or Shpongle in the middle for the more introspective dive. Cap it off with more fun pop coming out from the other side. I always feel really good with that formula.

Music For Airports by Brian Eno, I can listen to it on repeat forever while sober, it's just so soothing. Tripping, hell yeah.
