Florida bill seeks to ban the democratic party

Blaise Ingoglia, R (obviously) filed the "ultimate cancel act", SB 1248, which seeks to outright ban and reject any filings by any party that has at any point "supported involuntary servitude".
I guess we'd have to look at the details of the GOP to see if they have any official pro-slavery language, but this bill would ban the democratic party and force the democratic party to re-register under a "substantially different" name from any that has previously been registered with the state of Florida.
So...I guess yeah, the ultimate cancel culture is, as always, the GOP.

Surprise, surprise.
Remember when they loved to call Democrats "snowflakes", and yet the biggest snowflake of them all was their dear leader who couldn't even handle the late night ribbing and tried to get Disney to censor Jimmy Kimmel.
The right: Fighters of cancel culture, proponents of free speech.

Speaking of the First Amendment, what is it that prevents the right from understanding what it says?

The noise of the second amendment sending another classroom to heaven next door makes it hard to hear.

Oh no, now we’ll miss out on all the stellar achievements that the Florida Democrats have been advancing.

I seriously doubt that Bill will pass and it doesn't really hold water because the party he's talking about is the modern republican party which southern democrats switched to almost strictly on racist policies thanks to racists like Strom thruman and others. So it's not likely to hold up in court in any sense. What an ignorant jackass

It doesn't matter, Florida will be underwater in ten years or less, barring Giant Meteorite from revealing itself.

It's just a public relations ploy. The party that is more racist now is going to ban the other party because they were way more racist in 1860. That's true but the GOP didn't exist before 1854, so they are conveniently in the clear for most of slavery. Republicans can stand up tall and say they were better for black Americans 160 years ago.
