The thing is, once you get a few key things down the scraps are really just scraps. Spending hours harvesting 120g dry⦠you get tired of it by the end. At that point anyone I trust enough to help harvest can just have whatever they want, scraps or not man.
No ones mentioned the pitfalls of success yet. This is a first for me. No idea it took that long to harvest. Is it more the cleaning of the mushrooms? I can see how that could tedious.

If you tell 1 person what you are doing then you've told 10. And those 10 will tell 20 and so on. I trust my wife. That is it.
I had a gf for 2yrs she never knew what I was doing. Told her and her family I worked from home day trading stocks. Read a few day trading for dummies sites to understand terminology.

Harvesting is quick. I harvest a shoe box in about 15min.

That's not that quick. 10 shoeboxes would take you 2 and a half hours. thats a good chunk of day for 10 boxes. Imagine 60 full sized tubs

Gotcha. I canβt relate since 4 shoeboxes is all Iβve ever had to harvest at once. That took about 30-45 min. I canβt imagine growing that much!

No need to imagine.
If the cheese cloth was stuck to the substrate couldn't you just grab each shroom and pull separately and get a clean harvest? I know it wouldn't be as fast but it would still be faster than pulling each single shroom then cleaning and trimming. Pulling each singly might not disturb the surface if you wanted a second flush.

I love shit like that but it doesnβt seem very practical. Simply because second flushes tend to come in where the first flush didnβt but if you pull the whole surface up like that, youβre resetting the whole thing and second flush isnβt going to come in as fast.
If you wanna get it done faster, I think electric knives, sawzall, jigsaws etc are much more efficient

i thought about getting a nice electric knife. Rada knives work great cause they're paper thin, stay sharp, and are easy to sharpen to a razors edge.

When I started the idea it was meant to be used in conjunction with an electric knife. Specifically for enigma.
