Hello! i am just getting into the cooking aspect, and ive been doing some research. Something i cant find is how to diagnose how many grams per pip on my candy bar there will be, is there a formula or rule of thumb i can go by?

I don't think there's any, but too much might make it difficult to fill a shallow mold evenly.

if you powder your additive to the chocolate, and make sure to mix homogenously, then you should be able to divide the number of grams of powdered additive by the number of chocolate pieces and have a fairly accurate estimate of gram per pip

If you add more than 2.25 grams of  powdered mushroom to an ounce of chocolate the mix becomes less fluid and pockets of air are more likely.

That is true, I'll give you that.  So you could actually counteract that by adding small amounts of unsalted butter (real butter, not margarine) to add milk fats to the mix, thus maintaining the solid:liquid ratio

Ha, good to know, I'm going to try that soon, Would ghee be better? I'm thinking it might be, doesn't add water to the mix. Would be nice to get the ratio of mushrooms to chocolate  up to 4 grams to an ounce.

You could try adding a small amount of palm oil to it, this will add to the shine and even bring out the flavors and texture a little too.
