Those damn kids on my lawn.

The company I ordered the sealer from said this:
"The sealer you ordered only operates at 110 volt power.
The manufacturer can change the transfer to 220 volt but it would take 6 to 10 weeks for them to get it."
Also gonna cost extra $70.
Now I have to see if there's a way to do this myself, because my country doesn't use 110v.
What a PITA.

You can get voltage adapters. They're basically a 1:2 transformer (run backwards, for 220:110) Keep in mind this means you'll get double the current on the 110V output, so the max for a 15A circuit would be a 30A load on the secondary. That's 3300 watts. I don't think sealers go that high though lol
Example with 10A output maximum: https://www.amazon.com/TryAce-Voltage-Converter-Worldwide-Adapter/dp/B01NBMQIX8

I like to treat my 18k sq ft lawn. There's lots of benefits to proper lawn care. Moles/voles/mice eat grubs and insects in your soil. You don't have a vole problem, you have an insect problem. Here ticks and fleas are bad, carpenter bees and ants will eat buildings, hornets and yellow jackets will set up shop. Having a weed free lawn that's healthy, fed properly and free of insects is good. Spraying barrier insecticides is necessary.

Thanks for the reply man, just found out about these transformers before I saw your post.
I'm not good with electrics whatsoever.
The sealer I ordered is 1000w so I guess it needs to be 1000w+ transformer right.
They are quite expensive and bulky, also not sure if energy efficient?
I'm wondering if I could just hire an electrician to make the same change the manufacturer would have done (change the transfer from 110v to 220v)

that sucks. that sealer kicks ass tho. i've used the 16" version. currently use the 12". I'd use an 8" if they had it

Has anyone found a better way to dab up pooling water than paper towels?
I've been fantasizing about a portable wet/dry vac along the lines of a dentist suction tool.

Maybe like this?

I'm completely naive... I did a quick search on how to do it safely and came up with nothing. Can you advise?
