Nice big holes, slight height offset for dominant hand.
Why is there a Bic lighter next to the torch? The ignition is busted on the torch so I use the Bic to get it lit

Hereβs the tek, but itβs not expanded steel. Itβs ABS plastic. Theyβre sold for cheap on Amazon as blanks to use as car radiator grills. They come in most every hole size and pattern imaginable. https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/28108985#28108985

Dandurn777 said: It looks like a SAB I tried to make using a jigsaw to make the arm holes. Even though I used a brand new blade with very fine teeth, the plastic was too brittle and cracked like a mother.
I think the jigsaw is the best tool to use making SABs. Itβs what I used to cut out my arm holes and window for the acrylic. I used a masonry hole saw for the sterilizer port.
The best jigsaw blade is an acrylic blade followed closely by a masonry blade. Either way, following standard acrylic cutting procedures by the taping both sides of the cut further reduces the chances of cracking in addition to preventing scratches. If you do accidentally crack PP plastic, itβs easy to weld back together with a heat gun.

Snapped this pic for you, Beef, after setting up my basic bitch SAB for a little g2g & my new favorite cult task; cloning directly to grain (f2g).
Big holes cut with a dremel. A new trash bag covering the bottom surface. Wire rack to elevate all the shit. Hobby knife scalpel. Outside the frame is an ordinary alcohol lamp. No spray bottles, wet towels, or gloves. Just a little ISO, a mask, & faith in physics.

Hereβs my last SAB. When I cut the window for the new one, I glued the extra acrylic over the holes to turn it back into a functioning tote.

You have to score the plastic with a scalpel or coarse sand paper. Probably hot glue? Or melted back in with a heat gun.

Hot glue and silicone work. For a perfect bond, you have to use a polypropylene welding rod. Theyβre cheap.

Iβve used a quick pass of a propane torch on plastic for getting glue to bond for other projects

I've got ths little thang:

Built from this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01EC60IG8
and this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000TK3ZM6
I more or less followed this:
It kicks ass. I have strong laminar air for almost 30" in front of the filter. According to the spec sheet, I should be getting about 500 CFM through it, more or less.
