Not pictured is the inside that has loose grains, agar, and other shit on the bottom of it that I canβt be bothered to clean up. It also rocks back and forth and is definitely not level.

b00mba said: Oh snap. This almost made me post a picture of my new flowhood prototype. =DD Im so surprised in how cheap i did it that im trying to patent it. Cant show any pics before i get the feedback if it can be patented or not. 100% modular flowhood that weighs 2kg. Can be strapped with thin wire with jojo's so i can raise it up and down when ever i need it. Mostly clean plates with laminar flow and h13 hepa. Next trials are starting this week with h14 hepa. ^. ^ I made the perf grill by my self and lots of other stuff also.
so, thugnar, youve decided to expose your puppet account? None of us forgot that you were developing a modular hood. you may be a shameless troll but we do listen. π
This is awesome. You can piss on my younger brothers face all you want. Believe it or not were having a contest on making a flowhood. Were having our thing. You can have your pissing contest.

He/she actually did so well I let them move into my room and I live in the SAB for the time being. I get hydrated grain snacks and more so really I came out ahead.

Old pic, but little's changed. I got some more wire racks, but that's about it. I've got painter's plastic taped to the top of it, and I let it drape down like a curtain while working. I look down through the top (bottom) to see what I'm doing. I then sort of tuck it in when I put the unit up on a shelf for storage.
I keep meaning to upgrade, but it's turning into a "why bother" situation. I made this thing 7 years ago, and it's served me fine as my techniques have improved.

More Picasso or DalΓ. Da Vinci would have exact proportions and hidden compartments motorized with cranks and differential gearing.

It looks like a SAB I tried to make using a jigsaw to make the arm holes. Even though I used a brand new blade with very fine teeth, the plastic was too brittle and cracked like a mother.
