Where will this end? You gotta feel for the Korean guy pleading for his life. He knew he was dead because not only wasn't Korea releasing Iraqi prisoners, but they were gonna commit 3000 troops to Iraq. Unfortunately in his case it's a matter of the loss of one life, opposed to the lives of many. When I see the video of him screaming for his life to be spared, I really feel his pain. Poor guy. That is why I am for the war on terrorism. Those fucks gotta pay for this. I don't follow the Islamic religion, but this can't be what it is about. This is just a twisted version of it.

He had a name. It was Kim Sun-il. When you see him crying and pleading for his life it makes you feel real sorry for him. That must suck, knowing your gonna get your head chopped off in a little while. What happened to the previous posts?

There were at least 10 or so responses. Maybe a mod deleted them. I believe the first one was from Mixomatosis telling me that this post is in the wrong place. This is truly odd.

And to think, I thought that Kim Sun-il had it rough. I guess it isn't as much of a discussion unless you're an American that gets beheaded. I wonder why? A terrorist is a terrorist no matter who you kill in the name of Allah. I just can't shake the sight of him begging not to die. T.V. news can mess with your head.

what do you want people to say? yeah its rough, thats what happens when you go into dangerous territory, you get murdered.
These terrorists/freedom fighters have no PR savvy, thats for sure. No one is going to identify with their plight when they do idiotic pointless shit like this.

As far as him being there, he shoulda' left while all that crazy shit was going on. He must have been warned to leave (maybe not. I thought it was only us Americans that were asked to leave. I wasn't aware of anti-Koreanism). As far as PR savvy, I hope our president has a good game plan. I don't want this country turning into another Israel where suicide bombers are a common place thing. That is a real scarey thought. Could you imagine living like they do in the Middle East. That would put a dent in your partying time.

So your going to let these people scare you? Terrorism wouldnt be terrorism if they didnt terrorize people, do you understand?
This is a common tactic to weaken your enemy. You have obviously chosen a side in this matter... and it is that of the nationalist American side. So you feel threatened... as your country is aligned in the fear and the war on terrorism.
If i die, i die. My partying time with be dampned because other people decided that their fears will dictate their actions.
How much has the UN done on this matter so far? Not a whole lot it seems so far.
Setting up an interim government... BIG WHOOP.
Beyong being a discussion about politicts... This raises a question of fear in judgement.
I can either sit here, be scared and let some other murderes in another country try to scare me into acting a certain way...
or i can decide for myself what i wish to do to make the world a better place.
Because i dont express and outright feel for these people doesnt mean i dont care about people. Its not right what they did, but as i said... ITS WAR. Your president said so, remember .
The middle east is a big problem, and people are pissed at us, cause we stuck our fat ass in there to try and tell people who are not our own... what to do..
Imagine getting kicked out of your house... your neighborhood, in what you believe as the most holy place... supported by a country that has brought only chaos to your land.
On top of that, people you have been fighting with for centuries are now backed by a country that has been stomping all over you.
Its a joke why anyone asks why these things happens, as if it were not self evident...but then again i dont think most people who constantly watch television in america are all that polished on their world history.

ya Zero7a1, you got it all right, i would've answered the same way. Its funny how american TV shows the crime Iraqis commit, but they never show those that americans commit. I think the main reason why about 80percent of the people here in france are against the war, is because we see things on TV concerning the american troops that american themselves will never see. I mean shit dude, them soldiers are scared to death in Iraq, they'll fuckin shoot at anything that moves, i've seen them shoot at Red Cross doctors that were trying to help the wounded Iraqis.

The best thing a person captured by these sick individuals could do is make peace with the great beyond and try to escape getting oneself killed in the process. Letting the world see a pathetic plea for your own life is no way to go out. Go down fighting if it is possible, or at least use non-violent resolve to get one's self killed for non-cooperation... Sad thing this.

Letting the world see a pathetic plea for your own life is no way to go out.
Sounds good on paper and in the movies, but NO ONE knows how they will react until they are in that position.
When one is in "survival mode", they do not care how foolish they may look. When you are bound and unable to move, your verbal plea or silence is all that you have left.

I thought about it some more. I like to think that if I were in the position I would choose silence because my plea would be useless. Governments don't change troop deployments because one man's life is endangered. I say I am ready to die anytime fate calls, but I don't really know for sure.

If you were in that position you would be begging for your life. Dont disgrace this poor man's life with your delusional "check me out" posturing, nobody believes you anyways, not even your self.

Your reply is posturing if anything is.... I disgrace noone. The guy was doing what he felt he had to. I would like to know how you speak for everyone here,("nobody believes you anyways") though. Young guys that think they know it all usually don't know shit about anything. I know...I used to be one and I still don't know shit, but my own opinion.
