Very good job!
I love the depth of your substrate; youโll definitely get several more flushes from it.

I thought the same thing. Great cube storage idea. Inexpensive @ Ikea and I like the added lighting.

They came from a different user a couple months ago, but I also have some Avery's running so it's possible I could have mixed them up at some point. Either way I'm super satisfied with the results ๐ค

It was MS syringe, whole oat grain spawn, with a CVG substrate. I thought my field capacity was good but I definitely didnโt make a deep enough casing layer. I also think the temp couldโve been lower, there were times when it got up to 80ยฐ since I store them in a bigger tub and itโs in the same room as agar & grain spawn which I keep warmer.
MS syringes are genetic crap shoots. You're better off isolating on agar. Also 80ยฐ seems to be on the high side so could that have factored in as well.
True. I'm working with agar as well (have a few shoeboxes spawned with agar going right now) - this is from a grain jar I decided to inoculate at the same time I started inoculating agar plates. I'm sure those will turn out better but I'm pretty happy with where they are now considering it's my first time.
I'm planning to harvest later today once Amazon drops off my new dehydrator. Should I harvest everything now, leave the smaller ones and dunk, or wait a little longer for the rest to grow out more?

I would just harvest the mature fruits that are sporulating and wait for the rest to start opening their caps. You wonโt have to wait long.

Here is a picture of my KSSS tub, also from ms. I think the jars also might not have been the best. Got some fruits tho! they are small as well but iยดm hoping for better 2nd flush. I think these might be the last KSSS tubs before i will move to AA+.

Those KSSS are definitely struggling. Hard to say why exactly but there are a number of things indicated. It may be that you have / had insufficient fresh air exchange (FAE), CO2 build up can cause small and deformed fruits, it may be that you have/had insufficient or uneven hydration of your substrate (some fruits look dehydrated), it may be as you suggested that you used bacterial spawn so your mycelial network is compromised and thus your fruits are not getting enough hydration or nutrients from the substrate. Iโll see if I can find some healthy KSSS fruits in my photo library and add it here.
If they are happy KSSS generally have thick stems and pretty broad caps that open to a flare plane or upturned when very mature.
