Yes I was going to try to make the syringe last longer, by refilling the syringe and shaking it vigoursly to get more spores loose.

So you think that contamination will be a problem? If I sterilize I will kill the spores though correct??

You could pressure cook some honey water or malt extract. Leave about 1 cc in your syringe after innoculation and then flame/alcohol sterilize the syringe and suck up the (cooled) sterilized medium. Let the spores colonize the honey water for 4 or 5 days and you're ready to go again. Good luck.

Where do I get or how do I make honey water??

Just pressure cook it in a container and then suck it up into a syringe with 1cc or so left and wait for it to colonize then shoot it into a set of 10 cakes.. Is this correct??

are you can sterilize the syringe take a print soak it up and have a dank syringe and start more jars.

I was thinking as long as you had enough sterile air in the syringe this would be fine. The mycelia needs air to breathe thats what Eberbach Containers are for. If you make sure there is some sterile air in there then when you shake the syringe it would put oxygen into the water.

i have had sucsess by just leaveing 2 or 3 cc's in the syringe and sucking up some water that i had boiled and then put in a shotglass with plastic wrap over it. i put the glass in the frige for a while and then sucked it up. shaked it and innoculated it. going through the honey tek or malt extract which is harder than you think i havent had either of them work and i have followed the directions to the letter.
