Home grown ID request
    #28186656 - 02/14/23 03:34 AM (1 year, 10 months ago)

Hi guys,

These were grown out of spores got off the internet. Can you guys ID them? I'd rather avoid kidney damage

They bruise blue.

I logged a bit of info in my Journal if anyone interested.

Surely it looks like premature fruitbodies of Psilocybe cubensis. No danger of kidney damage here.

Amazonian is not a species name, it's something someone made up to sell spores

No I got that, it's just a strain name.

This thread was moved from Mushroom Hunting and Identification.

Reason:
might be better here.

I had to flip a coin. The rules here said to ask at "Hunting and Identification" and the rules there were a bit unclear in this regard, but suggested to ask here. Thanks.

Neither do I after a quick google image search (before asking here). Seeing the pins bend like that and thick at the bottom pushed me to start this thread.
