I hope I get something half this good. My Melgo culture is starting to pin now. It was really fast, took approx 2 weeks. Coincidentally, my Ambrose culture is now also pinning, again after 3-4 months.

Thanks guys. If you like em chubby, check these out.... same print, different culture, a little younger:

These were from a print from VL. The other culture I've been working with for around a year or so is from a print from Artemis. Also have one from RockyFungus but as he experienced, it isn't the best producer. Still produces though and was my first foray into Semps.

Great photos Guys! This is awesome
It feels like Semp are becoming easier-ish to grow, and to get prints too. Whereas when I started and this thread was ~50 pages we were still scratching our heads

Are these and the tub yiu posted earlier super hollow? I recently had a pesa grow that looked a lot like those and they were the weirdest ones Iโve seen. Like drinking straws when you cut them off.

A.k.a posted about doing multiple prints for Semperviva and Iโve always done double prints and worked with the second print. I started printing by putting a drop of water on the caps and letting them sit under cover for 24 hours and got decent results. I added a piece of damp cotton swab on top of the caps and left them for 48 hours and got darker prints and can transfer the same cap to fresh foil and get more dark prints. Iโm currently doing a 6th print from one cap, still nice and dark and I donโt have to remember to add water to the cap. Prints have been clean too.

I haven't harvested any of these fruits yet so I can't say for sure but I have found that with tamps, mexicana, and semps, they are always some degree of hollow if they are really fat. Giving these chubby semp stipes a squeeze, they feel remarkably firm but I can still detect some hollowness to them. They still feel like they have thicker walls than any others I have grown so far, but I do not expect them to be fully solid. I'll post an update when I harvest. Going to get some prints off these since they are the first clone grows of this culture. The tray I posted first is about ready and about 1/3 of the fruits are dropping spores.

Harvested the first semp clone Iโve run, very happy with the result, I think this is the best tub Iโve done so far! Unfortunately, some green appeared on some withered side pins, was looking foreward to running another flush from this guy. But happy regardless, their sibling is looking just as good so hoping no shenanigans occur with them and a second flush can be done. Definitely an improvement over the ms runs at least as far as density, will keep this clone around a while I think.

Picture dump because I think they are so darn pretty.
It looks like they are about ready to print because I am beginning to see spores. And I like the fat one on the left of some pics for cloning, but will wait to see how hollow he is and will probably clone some from the clusters instead or also.
