Are these tubs likely to pin? (suspected bacterial contam)

These shoeboxes were spawned to bulk just over 3 weeks ago and I only have one little fruit from all the tubs combined so far. They're not looking particularly healthy and I suspect bacterial contamination is holding them back. One tub is producing some strange white blobs.
The original culture was taken from a clone from a successful PE grow, grown in agar then put to oats. Substrate is CVG. I'm especially annoyed cos I thought that, since I'd cloned, I'd have a much better chance of success. Not sure where I'm going wrong!

They're all pinning...Do they smell bad? looks really wet, how do they breath? not every clone is a winner*. You can try dunking or casing. Colder rooms temps?

They're all pinning? They don't smell bad as such but there is a kinda faint sweet smell which I know is bad. Ketamine abuse has rendered my sense of smell pretty useless though so it's not a very reliable indicator, plus it may just be my imagination!
The lids are unlatched and not clipped down but I could flip them which might encourage more FAE if you think that'd help? You think I should maybe fan them for a few mins too to dry em up?
They're currently in the only room in my house that's heated so it's about 70f. I could move them to another room which is 60f though if you think that'd help?
I've never dunked before. I don't really get it! Would I just fill the tub with water then drain it out? That would feel weird lol. Like I'd be doing them some damage! Also, surely then they'd just be too wet?

All those weird blobs are knots and pins. hypahea knots are forming all over the place and most seem to be blobing out. Fanning wont hurt. 70F room is fine. There is no reason a dunk should be necessary. Especially before the first flush. But sometimes it can help induce a flush. Read about it. too much to spoon feed. In general it doesn't look like the healthiest genetic selection. If the tubs are contaminated they might not recover from a dunk.

Fair enough. Yeah I just watched a couple of vids on dunking. Seems pretty straightforward but as you say, may not be helpful if I've got contam. I'll probably just dry them out a bit, flip the lids and see how they get on.
For future reference, when casing, can I use straight coir or straight verm (or a mixture of both)? I read here that coir might be "too nutritious" for casing but I've also heard that the whole point of coir is that it's non-nutritious 🤔

Any number of ratios coir/verm seem to work. I have in the past seen people use various peat/ potting mixes. This is not 100% the same thing as a real casing that is required for other species. I usually just add a small layer of coir on the top at the time of spawning.

Yeah, this is what I do. Pseudocasing, right...Anyway, thanks for your help man. I've fanned the tubs and they're looking a little drier. I've also flipped the lids. Will just sit tight now and hope for the best 👍

If it were me I’d introduce small amounts of FAE slowly.
If that is PE a thicker casing and increased volume of h2o/substrate might prevent blobbing. Using questionable/bacterial spawn for this is not recommended. For future reading and projects maybe:

Thanks dude! Interesting write up. I'll be sure to try thicker and more compacted subs/pseudo casing in future.
You mentioned slowly adding FAE. I guess it's a bit late now since I've just fanned the shit outta them, but at least the humidity level looks better now.
Tbh I'll probably stick with B+ in the future as I want a simple life!

Yeah just do what you’re comfortable with. Get a good grasp on that, then try exploring other things down the road.
