Filterboxes in a pressure cooker?

Hei all mushroom lovers
I have a quick question(doubt) maybe someone smarter can give me some guidance. I bought filterboxes (autoclavable) but since i have been using jars i have no experience pressure cooking filterboxes. So, my worry is about putting the filterboxes with substrate into the pressure cooker, but usually i need to fill the pressure cooker with some 2-3cm of water.
I do use the "rack" that came with the pressure cooker (Presto Pressure Canner 23qt) but it seems the splashing will be detrimental for the filterboxes.
Anyone has experience with this kind of setup?
Thank you kindly and enjoy your Sunday
A.

I have some alu pipe cuttings ~2cm to lift things up the bottom if I have to, but thats somewhat overengineered. You can put a layer of small jars or a plate or something if you feel the rack is too low. I don't put steel things in my PC *to lift things up* because of galvanic corrosion. *i think stainless steel will be ok*
That put aside, why the need to sterilize the substrate?

I think he bought tissue culture jars Personally have never seen them used with mushrooms. Aluminum foil over the filter should help. But how much Gas exchange do those things allow?
"As a rule, # 10 and # 30 filters (white and red) are designed for plants with a long incubation time, whereas the # 40 filters (green) are developed for plants in need of a high gas exchange and/or plants that spend less time in the Microbox."

sips coffee : rips bong: oh yeah. thats how that https://www.magic-mushrooms-shop.com/ ( our sponsor) sells Sclerotia forming myc over in EU.
If thee boxes say autoclavable they should pressure cook with no problem. If your worried about the filters- maybe aluminum foil. Or put em all in a PP ( polypropylene) bag. Besides the steam it will stop the splashing. Let us know what containers you bought and how it works.

Exactly, the same plastic trays with filter(s) on lid.
Thank you all for the ideas. Will try

So, the experience was as on pictures. Bottom filterboxes went mush. The second layer was good.
Thank you all for thinking along

I use different TEK. I mean i prepped the rye by washing it and soaking overnight, boiled a little and dried until it does not stick to the hand. I recon they are on the wetter side, but been struggling with the quality of the local rye. Plus i suspect my hydration and drying process of Plaster of Paris needs a little tweaking.
Thank you all for input

You added plaster of Paris? That was a waste of time, your grain was definitely on the wet side.
I've used rounds tubs like this to prep grain before, you need to allow headroom so that you can shake and redistribute the moisture or its a solid cake like yours.
Overly hydrated grain covered in soggy plaster of Paris....

Jep, added the plaster of paris because spanish people get in semi-panic when i asked for lime or gypsum (even in gardening stores), so i said ef it and tried. Anyway, will be inoculating today those that were not soggy, so we will see in couple of weeks are they viable or no.
About the headroom - right again, fortunately the other ones i prepped are 75% full, so i had luck with shaking it up. It was my first time with those plasticy thingies, i feel more at home with mason jars but hey, i felt adventurous, so here i am.
Thanks!

Properly hydrated you shouldn't need the gypsum either. Try to get a brewer's bag, it really makes things easier! You can boil and dry with the grains in it.

Thank you all. Unfortunately i am not up to date with current new TEK-s, any suggestions? I usually play around with rye and jars, later monotubs (coco, vermiculite and gypsum*)
