New uninvited contamination - Not seen before. * 1
    #28183346 - 02/12/23 02:40 AM (1 year, 10 months ago)

I have a tub of Yeti that has been flushing for the last month.

Getting to the stage where aborts are forming, possibly due to dry substrate cake and this new little yellow contamination has taken root. Any one with knowledge of the yellow growth?

Does it smell? Have you tried scooping them up for a closer shot?
Stuff can be toxic though, so go safe about it.

I have removed two samples from the substrate. No noticeable adverse smell from the yellow invaders.

Tried to take clearer, better photos as per attached.

I get this every now and then. Adas said it could be an aspergillus. Hard to say for sure but definitely a mold.

Update on the doggy spawn bottles.

Second flush came in and also some yellow mold contam. Seems to turn up more in the second half of summer for some reason and it usually doesn't spread much. Not sure what this is, maybe fusarium. Still producing though.

Anyone getting this yellow mold as well?

Most likely Aspergillus flavus. Bad shit.

Where did you get these containers? Looks super useful for cakes but I wasn't able to find any, literally anywhere.

that's wild... the color reminds me of dog vomit slime mold I see out in the woods hunting when foraging for fungi

This may be the suspect. Your end image seems to be the same as my contam. It does not spread alot at all, remains localised to a small area. Of the two tubs, each only have two small patches that have come through a month of flushes.
