Amanita and pregabalin

Hi guys,
sorry if this isn't the right place for the topic, I couldn't decide where to put my question.
So, I'm about to start microdosing amanita, 1g/day that is. The problem is that I'm heavily into pregabalin. I've been using high doses for months now. Quitting pregabalin is one of my main goals, I've been trying to do so for quite some time, but without any success. Now I put my hopes in amanita.
So could you please tell me how does it look, I mean high doses of pregabalin on the one hand, and microdosing amanita on the second. Is it possible that amanita wouldn't work at all (having in mind all this GABA stuff that I've never been able to fully comprehend...)? Would it be better to work with my pregabalin problem first and then come back to the amanita plan? Or is hoping that 1g/day of amanita may help me to slowly decrease doses of pregabalin so that after a month or so I would be free from my pregabalin addiction?
Thank you in advance for any replies!

Pregabalin withdrawal can be pretty severe. I have never heard of using Amanita to get off of pregabalin. I can think of no reason why that would be effective. Where did you hear that?
Honestly, your best bet, in my opinion, is to work with your doctor. He or she can wean you off of the medication slowly to eliminate any withdrawal.

Not sure what you are going on about. I did just send you a PM. I'd be happy to discuss whatever your issue is there.

I recently got off of gabapentin because of facial muscle issues
I had a run in with gabapentin about a year ago where I was eating 900mg at a time (presc. 300mg at a time) and eating a total of 2700mg or so a day (prescribed 900mg a day)
When it was ceased because they wouldn't fill it is when my withdrawal symptoms were really severe... I was repeating myself a lot and saying irrational things to myself (as well as withdrawing from ativan)
I'm fine now but with tapering gabapentin it was fine. The sudden decrease in it (when completely withdrawing abruptly caused really odd withdrawal symptoms typically in coming into my own after waking up in the morning. It was hard to get there.
It's a really relaxing drug but its like fucking water never know when to quit it. I feel better without it but I still fear the day I don't have my gbptn when serotonin syndrome kicks in when I go without my sertraline from taking extra though I do tend to get my three month supply filled a month early.
I still trip off of LSD (hard) while on the maximum dosage of sertraline - though havent eaten mushrooms in years
