Microdosing uncertainties

Hey guys,
Sorry if this has been asked and answered previously.
So my wife started microdosing to help cope with OCD, anxiety and depression, roughly around 2 weeks ago. She has said that some of her typical ruminations have ceased, but her mood has been very, very low since starting. It wasn't great beforehand either but she feels it has gotten worse since starting, is there typically an adjustment period where things get worse before they get better or is this an indication that they won't be of any help moving forward? I believe the dosage is 165mg (1 day on, 2 days off)
Appreciate any advice you guys can give, thank you!

Well it is only a "tool" to help one achieve those goals, but there is alot of other things that support the microdosing even more. Healtyh and good diet, and especially sports. Doing like 2-3 times a week does already wonders.
I would recommend she should build a regular habbit of doing some sports and also maybe (if neccesary) adjust the diet to more healthy and wide range of foods.
Often also continue therapy, if she is having or had therapy. But what is important is that the isn't on any harder med's anymore.

Hi!
Glad to hear that microdosing seems to have helped on some aspects of her life I don't think it is possible to say if microdosing has caused that drop in mood. It very well might have been coming anyway
Two weeks might be a bit early to say if it's working or not. 1-2 months seems to be the recommended time. You might also want to try different protocols and see if that makes a difference (eg. https://www.microdose.nl/en/blog/6-microdosing-protocols)
For me growing the mushrooms is part of the mental process, so I encourage you to try growing them together if you haven't already.

Thank you for the response, we are both trying to clean up our diets although hers is probably better than mine at the moment! I agree, I think the mushrooms are definitely a way to help stabilise yourself to a point where you can then help yourself further!

Thank you for the response! 1-2 months is fine, we were very unsure of whether or not there was a typical time that people need to wait... I totally appreciate that it's not set in stone and will be different for everyone though!
