Extra Casing is Colonized...what do i do?
    #2818216 - 06/22/04 08:00 PM (12 years, 5 months ago)

I recently scraped off a layer of casing (casing was too thick, i realized), and put it in a bowl with tin foil for a lid.
Well its been about 3 or 4 days and the casing is growing mycellium.

What should i do with it? Can i make some mycellium water? can i use it to spawn a bulk substrate?
help

thanks

Its vermiculite and peat moss...do you really think it will produce fruits?

I think your best bet is to use the casing to spawn into a bulk substrate,as you said. Just make sure to pasteurize the substrate properly and you should make good use of your leftovers.

Good Luck,
MYKEY
