Looks kinda blue, like drying substrate.

Are you misting and fanning a lot? If so, give it a good misting and stop opening it You really don't need to mist much at all and fanning is never needed

Thank you, Kevinarns, LadysKnight, and TheStallionMang.
I missed your responses at first because I didn't realize the thread started a second page.
I went in the wrong direction last night, and tried to check it with bleach and salt. I'm kicking myself now, of course. A few minutes ago, I thought my grow was overrun, but I guess the bruising just spread.
I'll try to stay optimistic (again), and try to treat it accordingly. Yes, I've been fanning 3-4 times per day, at a minimum, and misting whenever it looked last the last spray had been taken up or evaporated.

Yeah, I seem to have let that go during my last post, anyway.
Thanks! I'm a lot more hopeful than I was a few hours ago. This is something I've thought about doing for decades.
I fuckin love that OP came out of the 3rd person in this thread. Congrats dude! and welcome.

This is my sad state of tub at the moment...

EDIT: is this showing as "deleted by poster" to everyone? I encountered that, deleted it, re-uploaded it, but I'm still getting that message.

Yeah, blue is the color we’re after. Green is not, it can be hard to tell sometimes and different spectrums of light can fool the eye. Bluing is a clear indication of oxidization, which means your cake is drying out. I would stop fanning and use passive fae. The bluing won’t go away but they will fruit again. Just keep on those surface conditions. Also stay patient, give your mycelium time to adapt to their conditions. And if you hit another snag, Don’t rush to judgment, you have days worth of time to decide what to do, mushrooms are slow and appreciate consistency. If you get trich, just throw it out, we’ve all tried to beat it at one time or another and I promise you it can’t be done and is just not worth the effort. Nevertheless, keep going and don’t give up, your next grow is going to go perfectly! That’s what I always tell myself anyways. 😆

Yeah pic uploads are borked today site-wide. Temporary I'm sure

Fixed. It looks like the uploads were fine - there was just an issue displaying them.
The tub isn't looking any worse today, and better in a lot of ways. The areas that were harvested aren't pinning again as I'd hoped, but that might be due to the surface conditions(?) On my next grow, I'll probably try cutting the stalks instead of pulling them entirely.
I'm still surprised at how fascinating this is to me... I suspect I have the mycelium version of "trypophilia", if there is such a thing.
