Bruising myc?
    #2817981 - 06/22/04 06:53 PM (12 years, 8 months ago)

howdy. I have a mycobag with a -tiny- bluish spot on it. I'm trying to determine if this is mold or bruising. I don't have a camera so I can't post a pic, sorry. Can someone please post a pic of bruised myc for me to compare to? Also, would it be ok to poke and create a small fresh bruise to compare to the other spot, or would that be not good? Thanks.

No need to fear, it is a bruise. They look like bruises... seme color. Go ahead and bruise another part of the bag if you doubt me... but really, there is no need. It is a bruise.

Thank you Cervantes.  I will test another part of the bag just in case.. Not that I don't believe ya.... I just like to be very careful when there's a possibility of mold.  Better safe than sorry right?

Just a bruise man. The cakes do seldom that. Nothing to sweat.
