1month to a year, minimum
but now that you mention it... does it plug into the wall? surely it would throw a breaker before zapping you or your setup, right?

It will not shock you. I ran those for years on the shelf of a tent.
As long as you do not duct them in any way, they last. Just put it inside and nothing else fancy. Tap water will also destroy them faster.
I played the warranty game with Walgreens until they refused to do business with me. Most have a 2yr guarantee

Is plugging a "dumb" humidifier into an Inkbird considered too diy/mods for you?

lol that's good to know, i have a filter with RO membrane for drinking water that i can use

I built one from scratch a while back but it broke, this thing is like 70 bucks so I don't really mind replacing it every year
growing oysters so I guess will need to do something about the FAE as well
