First timer, requesting feedback on my bag prep

Hello All! First timer and decided to make my own grow bags. I detailed everything a little better in my journal
Basically I got 4x3.5x13” bags, filled them with 2c soaked oats and 3c field capacity coir, added an RTV silicone injection port, then pressure cooked at 15psi for 90 minutes. After that, I sealed the bags and put them in a sanitized tote to cool. I pretty much just followed 90 Second Mycology’s Unicorn bag guide (just scaled down, obviously lol)
Does anyone have any feedback or guidance? I plan on injecting them with 1 cc of Golden Teacher today.

Bags look ok given they cant be expanded with the issues on the forum today.
You should avoid just squirting spores in there though. Probably a waste.

you have a PC and sound like you are willing to make an effort, do agar also remove the name of the vendor from your post

Hello. Thanks for the input. How would you recommend I inoculate them?

Hello! I have some Avery’s Albino spore swabs, Ps. Zap spores and everything to do agar cups coming tomorrow.
What’s a good method to inoculate all in one bags with agar?
Also, deleted supplier name. Good looking out.

Drop wedges into bag, seal the bag, gently mix agar into grain from the outside of the bag. Make sure not to touch anything during inoculation, it’s gonna be a crap shoot either way. It really is best to make grain spawn in jars first then inoculate your substrate with that.

You're going to want to make a SAB for agar work btw, including dropping wedges.

I was in a similar situation as you, I kinda rushed my first prep and inoculated directly from the mss without any agar work. It was a waste of recourses imo. Unnecessary contamination I could've avoided with a couple of agar transfers.
If you want to be efficient I would stick to what the people on this forum tell you, it was proven over and over again and works pretty much every time, not just sometimes like most of these reddit teks.
At the end of the day we are working with living organisms. You can give them a shitty environment to live and some of them will fruit eventually. They want to live and reproduce. It is our job to make it easy for the shrooms

I can do that. I’ve already got my agar ingredients and my cups should be delivered tomorrow. Will the bags be ok to just chill out at room temp for how ever long the agar work takes? Or should I give them another pressure cooking when I’m ready? I do have like 6 ready rice bags that I’ll inject just for the heck of it. If they contaminate, I’ll just bury them out in the cow pasture under some cow pies.
