Congrats Rev! The failures only make the success that much sweeter! Well-deserved.

Hindsight. I did the thing and the things are doing the things on agar. Much thanks, both look clean! You are doing the work and a great resource.
Bigger bag is starting to curl, which I would like to avoid. How can I prevent that curlage as I wait for prints. I swear Melgo was spraying?

That's awesome to hear Rocky! I'm glad I was able to pay you back since you are the one who enabled me to get my first Semps going!
As for curling, in my experience it is due to lack of FAE.

...*2 months later*.. the 100L EZ-dial fruiting chamber is producing some results .. I thought I only had spaghetti genetics, but here are some thicker specimens.

Moreover, in the smaller bag we have some zapotecorum popping up! Look at that .. I was misting the subtropicalis and then noticed the zaps.. so hope I didn't kill them.

For me it was 1 year 11 months and 10 day from first spores to first pins, but that is not exactly what you asked.

Edit: for the real answer. The tubs that are now pinning were a2g on 1/1 and spawned to sub on 1/21, so 38 days with a dry substrate.

Jars colonize at a relatively normal rate. Maybe a little slower sometimes but not much.
Substrates colonize at a reasonable rate too. They can be really fast, or just a little slower then average. It's from this point that takes all the time. It can take 2-6 weeks for pins to form. A very few folks get pins in 2 weeks from full colonization. Most people see them in 4-6 weeks. Then it takes 2-3 weeks for the pins to mature fully. So depending on how you inoculated yours jars, say 10 days for jars, 7 days for substrate colonization, 5 weeks for pins, 2 weeks for fruit maturity. That's 9-10 weeks.
