Hi all,
I'm a third year Psychology student currently completing my dissertation research project looking at the clinical applications of LSD and mushrooms. As part of this I have created a 5 minute completely anonymous survey for individuals who have taken LSD or mushrooms in the last year - I would really appreciate it if you have if you could fill out the survey below:

Thankyou, Millie

I wonder if you have considered that your results may end up being biased. The reason is that some of us take these substances in order to improve our current situations (e.g. depression). As such, the data may show correlation between the use of these substances and depression, not in the sense of cause and effect, but because of self selection. It would be like showing that aspirin causes headaches because those who take aspirin suffer headaches more often.

Hi,
thank you for your thoughts - we were aware of this potential problem however the only way to directly fix it would be to administer the drugs and compare to a control group however we do not have the ethical approval to do this thus we are measuring recency and frequency as a solution.
