Gnarled in-vitro fruits * 1
    #28170108 - 02/02/23 11:46 PM (1 month, 24 days ago)

Hi all, first post in a while. I recently top-fruited a bacterial jar and it looked like this. I posted it because I thought it might be a good opportunity to learn something.

The fruits themselves are large. The caps had dark brown speckles at first and then started to rot. Then the stipes got gnarled up like a scraggly old man and started growing different directions. It's in a quart jar sealed up in a gallon ziploc with a few air holes, cased with CV.

This jar isn't important to me; I've only kept it around for the wierd looking fruits. Right now its on its second flush. Anyone have any input on this one?

clone it and grow it out under normal conditions; seems like vigorous genetics

That was my thought as well but Stipe told me it didn't work like that. Pinning under stress and producing a large fruit could be a combination of several environmental factors and genetics. Either way Ima clone the sunm'bitch.
