wow that sux.  I see why you buy it in bulk  Matt cause if you dont your screwed.  Oh well in two days it will be a week and considering we live in the same state, we've had awsome weather 80+ several days in a row.

So they should have more than enough juice to operate there email.  Nevertheless, I have no choice but to wait.  You wanna sell me 5 pounds mat?       (5 pounds of COMPOST)

do they always send it through the mail or can i pick it up i can have some one pick it up in any part of wa for like 5$ and shipping would be so much i want to get at lest 10lbs of that stuff man i wonder if they would sell it to my freinds hydro store so they can resell it it would be nice to see this stuff in a retail store vrs online as it would be cheaper with no shipping cost thats my only draw back from ordering from them yet

I could be mistaken, but I doubt they are interested in the retail store thing. I think they are prolly having enough trouble keeping up with orders as it is. But like I said, I'm not them so I could be mistaken.

Well they better get some updated technology or there gonna loose people for sure.  This whole windmill, solar panel crap kinda sucks.  If they were really trying to expand they would be forced to do better.

The reason I dont just send my order in without talking to them is that I have a credit with them and I don't remember what the exact amount is.

I can wait, but after being a business man myself for sometime, communication is the backbone of business and without it your business suffers.  So I'll just wait. :nonono: :nonono: :nonono: :nonono: :nonono:

Pure speculation, based mostly off the fact that they no longer carry 20lb bags. There was another reason too, but I forget.

Hello all,
Actually the solar, windmill, off the grid stuff doesn't suck at all, it's really nice not to be screwed by the power companies on a monthly basis, and we're not trying to expand yet, just trying to keep up!
Today is 7/14/04, and these posts are June, so I'm sure we've replied to him thru email by now...anyway....
We do all of our business orders thru our website/email, and we only check in at the shroomery occasionally.
Our website, www.highmountaincompost.com answers most of the questions, in addition to giving shipping costs etc...our "webmaster" does a great job of looking after it.

As for the retail quesiton, we would absolutely love to sell to a retailer! Please have one get in contact with us... Howerver, we think that the retail price of our compost would be more than we are selling it for...and that includes the shipping cost.

Anyone can arrange to pick up their order in Port Townsend, we just have to know a day or so in advance - we live out of town., but are in town every day, so it's a simple matter of setting something up.

Like Matt said, the first one to order thru our website and mention his name, gets the prize...so far no one from the shroomery has!
