Underrated Pink Floyd album

- Grab book
- Flip to random page
- Choose a phrase that sounds like an underrated Pink Floyd album.
I got: "Seemingly random shimmer of meaning"

Unless the book you're quoting is written by you, about your ranking of the various Pink Floyd albums, I don't think you really read the thread content bro

To be honest all the Pink Floyd albums are highly rated. If I were to sit here and say Pink Floyd Animals or The Wall were under rated you'd probably say "Mother, why does dad say if I don't eat my pudding I can't have any meat. How can I have any pudding if I can't eat my meat?" Obviously many consider one of the most OVER rated albums in history.
If I was going to say under rated then I would say Saucerful of Secrets and More as earlier albums most people know almost nothing of.
Animals I think is their best one.

Happy to see the correction. For a moment I thought you had lost your mind.
I liked The Wall. Looking up the album list, I just realised there's a whole album (More) that I've not only never owned, but never heard of. Bookmarked!
I wonder, how many Americans were confused by the 'Hey you, Whitehouse' lyric in 'Pigs' and thought it was some anti-American jibe.
Fun fact that might come as a shock to some. It was, in fact, about Mary Whitehouse - founder of the 'National Viewers and Listeners Association', a group of right-wing god-bothering conservatives fukwits, whose main aim was censorship - that they were pissed off with.
The...
Mary you're nearly a treat Mary you're nearly a treat But you're really a cry
...must have been really confusing.
Oh. Most underrated, probably Ummagumma.
Edited out the 'remastered' version.
Just realised the uploader cut the fucking end off, 'The original and genuine', my arse! Probably a vegan or Buddhist or some-fink.

The fact you went back 'on topic' is fucking hilarious man Don't get me wrong, I love me some Pink Floyd but what they've done to reading comprehension just ain't right. "We don't need no education. We don't need no thought control." - Pink Floyd.

Yeah. Sorry 'bout that.
I got:
"Alternative accommodation".
From my 'Draft Tenancy Agreement'. The closest 'book' I had to hand.

You got onboard still- that's what counts! Alternative Accommodation was a bit 'raw' for me but they definitely fully realised some of the ideas by the time they put out DTA (which is truly underrated IMO)

What I really liked about Animals is it was basically just one song split into five different songs. I guess each song does technically change in the next song changes the key and the tempo so technically it is "5 different songs." But you can easily remove the small pauses between each song and the ending and beginning of each previous song to the next corresponding song just flows into one song no problem.

Well to be fair they are insulting the public education system. LOL and in their argument I'm sure they did not learn to play their instruments as well as they did in public school. I guess I mean I could be wrong. Each one of them knows how to play like 15 different instruments so I mean I suppose it's possible they learn through elective band class and each one of them learned one instrument one year and then the next the next year and then the next the next year etc. I doubt it though.

More is a soundtrack to a movie I've never seen but I think it's not that good but it features several great early songs not released anywhere else including cymbaline and one my all time favorite tracks that nobody knows about green is the colour

So the more version of cymbaline isn't that good but here's an early live version from 69 it does much better uptempo and jammed out live

Some great harder tracks from the album
The song quicksilver is also great song from the early days but very out there and finds most it's magic jammed live but it's very hard to find some these early live recordings but the exist and are mind blowing. Another great rare movie soundtrack compilation album not alot folks know about is tonight let's all make love in London featuring great live floyd material.

I've seen tonight lets all make love in London.
I've slowly fallen in love with animals / meddle over the years when I was young it was all wish your were here and the wall. This is one of those rare bands that made music in the 70s that I still listen to, I have gotten sick of most classic rock
