It looks like it to me as well, maybe I'm not understanding the statement regarding turning it before testing it

I'm pretty sure the cautionary wait time is to ensure compressor oil is not in the refrigerant lines, from being delivered upside down

Is there a reason you don't just turn it right side up and test it?
The chemical in fridges must settle 24 hours before turning on, else it make break. Free-on I think they use?

Refrigerators with an oil filled compressor and refrigerant need to be right side up so the oil stays in the compressor sump. Upside down, the oil can leak into the refrigerant lines causing the compressor to pump without lubricant. It can also damage the compressor trying to compress oil, when it’s only designed to compress gas. Turning it right side up and giving it a day for all the oil to drain back into the sump ensures you’re not doing any damage.

This might be old information but I haven't come across this in almost a year on here. I'm hoping this might help others. I been having a hell of a time cleaning sharpie off my holy grail plates and plastic grain lids after labeling them. I been using ISO but it seems to leave a ghost image of what I had written on them no matter how hard I tried to clean them. I had some denatured alcohol next to me one day and decided to try it. Not only did it remove the sharpie faster but it completely removed the ghost images even after pressure cooking them a few times. Here is a couple pics of how it worked on my grain lids today.

Cheap painters tape also works great to write on. You just peel it off and throw it away.

I finally had to force myself to start writing new labels instead of taking the same piece of tape from plate to jar to jar to tub...for a while when I was trying to figure out which of my cultures were bacterial, I'd take the tape label from any tub that contaminated before the first flush and stick it on the wall. That was the sum total of my "notes."
