You've got a point. Besides the silliness of these names not being descriptive of the content of the discovery in any way, they're usually inaccurate as well. Look at the history of scientific discovery and it all turns out to be recombinant and complementary stuff, which means it's usually fairly easy to pinpoint a couple of people who contributed to a discovery just as much but never got their names associated with it.

So I vote that we introduce the Law of Anahata, which says that no scientific discovery can bear the name of a person, either living or deceased.
