Mudas bottles is a far better tek.
Invitro grass seed is underwhelming and can take extended periods of time to pin

What is your normal yield for first flush? I want to establish a baseline

There are 10,000,000 variables that influence this.

50 grams wet is what's shown in the tek.

What's your reasoning for this wanting to try this tek?

Speaking from experience I wasted significant time and money on this method when i was a noob

I wanted ounces of mushrooms and got mostly failure

Then I went to shoeboxes and got my wish of success

I am already testing v-tek on 15g seed spawn. I did both monotub and PF tek a few years back; they give ok 1st flush, 2nd flush is sad and 3rd flush is contam broth; totally not a fan because of all the steps and fussiness of it.

The 1st bottle gave 9g 1st flush, 7g 2nd, pins forming for 3rd:

The 2nd bottle gave 14g 1st flush (interval harvest):

I am liking in vitro method:

1. You are getting close to 100% biological efficiency for 1st flush
2. No casing required
3. No mixing of substrate
4. Side watering instead of misting, you don't need to worry about overwatering
5. No worry about dehydration
6. No dunking for rehydration between flushes

As you can see, there is far less steps, hence less steps for contaminant introduction.

Neophytes always have issue with contaminants, and in-vitro V-tek, thanks to less steps, should be their go to method. I daresay in-vitro is superior to monotub when it comes to yield and fuss-less-ness.

I don't what cause your issue when you testing it; I didn't follow what Violet wrote at all; i only heard about V-tek recently. I used LC and have soak the spawn to the bones when PC-ing, literally soaking, 70% water:spawn.

I know it has its limitations.  I should say why I like it.  It isn't for its bulk, and for that a shoebox is a better choice.  I am a personal grower for modest use.  I like having different strains, and I like having fun and experimenting.  It doesn't produce much, but for sampling strains that's all I need.  I guess it depends on your purposes and intentions.
