First time getting pins that look like cubes. Can’t wait to see what they look like in a few days.

Spoke too soon about the dark cap, guess it wasn’t done yet.
The two I’m holding were cloned and swabbed.

Getting in on the natalensis hype, just put spores on agar. Crazy to think there's been a new species of Psilocybe confirmed since my last grow.

Hey AKA, I know we're not supposed to ask outside of the marketplace, but if you do decide to distribute those swabs please let us know here.

I only took a couple to keep breeding, but once I get them somewhat reliable I’ll definitely print up a bunch to send out.

Got a few plates of nat growing out and a couple of jars colonizing. First time with natalensis. Super excited to grow/try these out and see what the hype is all about. All made possible by this community.
That last plate is probably the most uniform/beautiful looking plate I've ever transferred.
24hrs post first shake - they were both roughly around 10% colonized

How'd you dial it in? How often were you fanning/spraying? What temperature? How many weeks of these conditions?
For those who mentioned flipping cakes with overlay, what were the results?

Flipping an overlaid sub certainly works, but every time I did it I ended up flipping it back. By the time the few side pins started to fill out, the pinset I was waiting on poked through old surface.

My 2nd flush were all smaller, squat fruits, ~11gm dried. Wish I would have taken clones of the bigger fruits from the 1st flush. Noticed a ton of pins of the bottom, think I'm going to try flipping it. My 3rd flush still has a lot of clusters, would anyone still recommend taking clones? I'm sending 7 qt jars of wheat tomorrow using similar agar as the first shoebox. Are you guys doing large monotubs with these or just smaller shoeboxes?
I took 3 gelcaps with ~750mg each the other night, ended up tripping decently when just shooting for a buzz. Didn't notice any come up. Love the body high. Was dancing and stretching.

Not that I noticed, but I only ran a few tubs 1 time and haven't gone back to them yet. I think it's all in genetics rather than conditions. Maybe someone who has more experience with them will know.

I will do a bigger Nat run with ~6 mini monos, using the same clone culture. I think I will do 3 of them cased and 3 without casing as I really want to know if it might help.
Recently I worked with a cube culture that heavily overlayed till I got enough and just flipped it upside down and cased it. Afterwards it produced surprisingly well.
I will update how it turned out here.

This is my first post. I joined so I could follow this and the subtropicalis thread.
About to go grain to sub on my first ever full grow ie swab > agar > grain > sub
Growing Yoshis low spore Nats. Anyone have any experience with these?
