Is probably good for your immune system.
You're practically getting a free COVID shot.
I'm going to start doing this as long as I can take it and taking cold showers.
Or go for a scooter ride in the wind.
Does anyone else do this just to get used to it better?
Absorb all the good and evil mother nature brings.
Sunbathing in the hot sun or laying in a blizzard is just as good.
I don't hardly ever get sick anymore.

I sleep inside in the cold. I'll probably rin out of propane before I get paid Friday, so Thursday will be fun. It's currently 3 degrees C in my trailer.

Passing along a tip I received- get an (X)XL size flannel pillowcase and pull up around your legs. Silly but works.

Yeah, I've got approximately 700 lbs of dogs. Maybe 800 lbs.

I think hobos eat so much methamphetamine and drink so much that their blood is like antifreeze.
I always look forward to getting past the solstice.

Hmmm, I amnot sleeping in the cold, but whenever I see some water I take a dip. I started doing this as a friend of mine has this habit. First just experience jumping in a lake at the beginning of November at the end of a beautiful ride on our beloved medicine. Back then I just did it, because I did not want to be the party pooper. After some years I started to appreciate the effect that the temperature change brings to the body. Last year was the first time I went swimming in a lake with some friends on the 1st of January which was a fun and pleasant experience. Yes, I think exposing ourselves regularly to cold temperatures definitely has a positive effect.

as earth continues to be terraformed, and humans in affluent societies continue to spend much of their time in artificial temperature controlled environments, the epigenetic changes will cause future generations to become physiologically inapt for living on their own planet

I really was doing this every day. This last cold spell I just couldnt do it. And now I'm sick with some kind of virus or something. It feels like summer now though. Fuck it was cold. I try not to turn my heat on usually until new years.
