Mushroom Mustard?

I know that you can add mushrooms for oral consumption to many fresh foods that you immediately eat.
But: can magic mushrooms just be added to any ('canned'/preserved) food or can it cause the product to go bad?
Afaik mushrooms shouldn't be cooked/heated, to prevent destroying the psychoactive components… But can a powder just be mixed in at the end of the regular recipe's process?!

Following situation:

A friend wants to make mustard (dip) as present for a few people.
She has this little bit unconventional recipe with cream, but she adds alcohol (cognac) and sugar as preservatives. This way the mustard doesn't go bad despite the cream.

Since we just have freshly dried a nice amount of cubensis, we had this funny idea if we could add mushroom powder to the mustard so it could be used for microdosing. Of course we would a dosage recommendation/guideline/spoon of some sort…

But i was wondering if the powder cut cause the mustard to go bad… or could any of the ingredients destroy psychoactive properties or change them?
I also read that mustard seeds contain tryptophane…

Any thoughts on that idea?!
Is there any section with edible-recipes i didn't find?

If you want to preserve mushroom powder honey is probably your best bet.

It's fine to cook with mushrooms. The melting point of psilocybin is quite high. Many people have added them to meals as ingredients and had success.
