I would just like to extend my thanks to this forum and site.  I went out to the horse pastures (i am in se PA) and managed to pick about 50 subs.  I could have picked a lot more but i just wanted some for one night, plus i dont want to pick the spot clean.  Anyway they were really really active.  i split tea we made out of all of them with a friend, and we were diffantly up there.  it was beautiful.  definatly very cool.  hunting them is fun, eating them is fun... god these things are awesome

thanks again guys!

Since P. subbalteatus does not grow directly from the manure of horses, where exactly did you pick these mushrooms from?
