Thanks man! I enjoy it very much! Been trying to improve my photography skills with every photo. Yes the black hairs are from the velvet, it's brand new and apparently likes to shed! 😅

I got me 7 mini-monos of PanEsteros that all look like this after 6 days

I know I'm gonna take shit for this but ..... I used TrichEvict on all of them and they seem to be performing WAY better than my last run at PanEsteros on the exact same substrate mix in the exact same temp range in the exact same room RH.

Jesus fuck bro I kid you not I've just googled TrichEvict 2 MINUTES ago before I found your post! I wanted to see if I remembered correctly that it contains Bacillus. lol

EDIT: And I encourage everyone to grow their own Bacillus, for obvious reasons.

yes mate SmartStore Classic 31, it's actually 32 liters though lol, you never know what is gonna go down when the Scandinavians engineer and name something. I do mine unmodified though, just flip and rotate the lid a tiny bit. Maybe will try one or two as Pasty Ezdials sometime though

If you just flip the black lashes inside of the box, you can easy place the lid normal on them and you have a nice gap around. NN flipping ;-)

Was kind of mad when I found that out^^ At least one tub should be unmodded -.-

yes mate I realised but in winter it just doesn't work for me that well, I think it is just too much gap with the lid sitting up on the handles like that, and my subs are always made on the slightly drier side... Thinking that would work great in summer though eh

So far so good. First agar to grain transfer I made and the mycelium is spreading on all the jars. Crossing my fingers it goes smoothly as this agar comes from an ape Clone from a grow I did quite a while back and them things were beautiful and strong.  I’m also kind of glad I somehow managed to get this agar stuck on the glass with the correct  side facing the grains so I can visually see it working 😁

Adas,

I agree with growing one's own Bacillus.  It's WAY more economical.  In this case I was tired of folks telling me how though they had never, and never would, use the product because it must be bad because someone commercialized and packed small amounts of Bacillus for sale.  I've been doing this long enough to know if one doesn't try hard enough to fuck up often ..... they aren't trying at all.  So in this case I tried tis product as a test run.
Having said that I gotta say I'm not disappointed in what I'm seeing.  Would I pay for it again .... probably not.  Do I now think it's a RELLY good thing to inoculate one's pasteurized bulk sub with an extra helping of Bacillus ..... kind, lets see how this works out in the end.

I've just inoculated some freshly boiled wood chips with Bacillus subtilis var. Natto culture (it's all in water). Will let it ferment for a few days and drain and expose to open air to see if any molds grow. If not, then we know it can be effective. If it fails I might try other Bacillus species. I also have a BTI culture, which would also work against Gnats as a bonus, and B. mycoides is easy enough to isolate from the soil due to its unique growth pattern.
