It was a feed store, I think it was true value but not sure. 3M gave away a 60cc a few months ago, I'm a firm believer in bigger is better when it comes to shroom stuff!

Check any online vet supply company, they have 30-60 cc syringes all day long. You can also get nylon syringes that are designed to be reusable. A 30cc costs about $7, but it can be reused for years. They also have a replacable O-ring on the plunger, as that's what usually wears out or gets bunked up from heat sterilization.

Hi,
yes a person can easily purchase larger syringes at a feed store, vet supply store, or Tractor Supply Store (TSC) wheelers, Country General, or those kinds of places. However, my llama Hercules, has several of these very large syringes, and has found that they do not fit into the pressure cooker very well when he wants to sterilize them.
On another note regarding syringes Hercules also discovered that when he wants to innoculate medium with mycilium water that regular syringes clog up with materials, even an 18 guage one. But he found out that one of those meat marinating needles, which are very large bore, and have 2 holes in them, work great! Do not clog up, and are made of metal and can be re-sterilized over and over. They also fit onto the ends of most other syringes, not just the one they come with. That is my 2 cents.
